So much to do!

I don't know where to start. Kayleigh starts Helston School in September, I have now got most of the stuff that she needs. All we are missing is her shirts and socks for P.E oh and a plain white T Shirt now that it doesn't have to have the school logo on it. Why the hell do they have to keep changing everything! Briony & Harry didn't really need much thankfully.

I have ironing coming out of my ears, we had to get bits copied and certified to apply for a joint bank account, that cost £7. WTF! How can they justify that?! I now have to copy my birth certificate and get that certified, take the form to the council offices to get them to fill it in as they don't accept the letter of benefit and then send it back to the OU. Bloody hell, nothing is simple. We still have Rob's ESA form to finish filling in, they want to know the in's and out's of a cats ass.

What I could do with is a bloody fairy with a great big wand to wave around and voila!

Open University

I have finally done it...applied for the following course...
BA/BSc (Honours) Criminology and Psychological Studies. It will probably take 5 years to complete but it is something that I am interested in so I thought I would give it my best shot. I start my 1st part of level 1 in November!

Argh...

Spoke to somebody today about Harry. Due to his verbal dyspraxia they think it would be hard getting him statemented because it would be difficult to explain what or how they would use the extra help! I am shocked. I only went in to talk about his bad behaviour at home. Unfortunately he is reasonably well behaved at school although he can be aggressive at times ha ha! I came out feeling worse than when I went in. I don't understand how Harry is going to communicate properly at school without extra help, they struggle now in Nursery! Bloody stupid. It annoys me that we parents have to really fight to get help when we need it yet some people get it handed in their laps. Really pisses me off!

Pediatrician appt....

Harry had another appt this morning, I wasn't looking forward to going as they're usually a waste of time. This time Harry was as silent as a mouse, considering he had been a right pain in the ass all morning I was shocked! The Dr finially got him interested by letting him kick around a little sponge ball. Harry caught it, kicked it, bounced it on his knee and kicked it again, she was very pleased.

I have to ask the school when they are going to begin to statement Harry, she feels this should soon be started. He hasn't seen an educational psychologist yet either. The good thing is that his speech is slowly improving, bad thing is that his behaviour isnt!

Onwards and upwards...

Bulwark Road Park...

Last night I attended a meeting regarding the revamping of our park. We have had many problems with vandalism...alcohol...wandering footballs etc, but now we would like to give the children something to appreciate and get them involved at the same time.
There is a facebook page and a plan for the park is up at Helston Childrens Centre. We are after different fundraising ideas and possibly sponsors. If anybody is willing to help then feel free to contact me and I will pass on any information.

Found a new blog to read...

Its called "The Style Goddess Blog". It really made me smile, I thought being a plus size woman it was just me that moaned about the lack of tredny clothes. Therefore I feel...30...fat...& frumpy!
